TransHero（翻訳大将）は、合同会社EMYSTIが作っている翻訳アプリです。病院、役所、銀行など「日本で暮らす場面」で、声、文字、写真を20の言語に訳します。画面は6言語で、使えるリアルタイムの方式は言語の組み合わせによって違います。この記事では、翻訳大将の特長と、実際の病院で比べた結果を紹介します。TransHero（翻译大将）是合同会社EMYSTI 做的翻译应用。在医院、政府机关、银行这些「在日本生活的场合」，能把语音、文字、照片翻成 20 种语言。界面有 6 种语言，能用哪种实时模式要看语言组合。本文介绍翻译大将的特点，以及在真实医院里比较的结果。TransHero is a translation app made by EMYSTI LLC. In the places where life in Japan happens — hospitals, government offices, banks — it translates voice, text and photos into 20 languages. The screen comes in 6 languages, and which live modes work depends on the language pair. Here are its main features and what happened when we tested it in a real hospital.

TransHero ＝ Trans（翻訳）＋ Hero（大将・ヒーロー）。日本語の名前は「翻訳大将」。ただの翻訳ソフトではなく、使う人のとなりで言葉を支える「頼れる大将」でいたい——その思いをこめました。同じ名前の海外のサービスもありますが、「翻訳大将」「AI同時通訳」の TransHero は合同会社EMYSTIのアプリです。TransHero ＝ Trans（翻译）＋ Hero（大将・英雄），日文名叫「翻訳大将」。我们希望它不只是翻译软件，而是在你身边帮你说话的「靠得住的大将」。海外也有同名的服务，但「翻译大将」「AI 同声传译」的 TransHero 是合同会社EMYSTI 的应用。TransHero = Trans (translation) + Hero. Its Japanese name is Hon’yaku Taisho (“translation chief”). We want it to be more than translation software — a dependable helper beside you when you speak. Services with the same name exist overseas, but the TransHero behind Hon’yaku Taisho and AI simultaneous interpreting is EMYSTI LLC’s app.

売られている翻訳アプリの多くは、言葉を言葉に置きかえるところで止まります。翻訳大将は、その場で通じる言い方で返すように作っています。役所の窓口の正式な名前、病院での症状の言い方、銀行の大事な説明——まちがえられない場面ほど、TransHero が役に立ちます。市面上的翻译应用，大多只是把词换成词。翻译大将则是按当场说得通的话来翻。政府窗口的正式名称、医院里症状的说法、银行的重要说明——越是不能出错的场合，TransHero 越有用。Most translation apps stop at swapping words. TransHero is built to give back wording that works on the spot: official names at a government counter, how to describe symptoms in a hospital, important explanations at a bank. 訳の正確さがそのまま安全と納得につながる病院で、TransHero と、ふつうの声の翻訳アプリを同時に比べました。たとえば患者さんが言った「飛蚊症」を、ふつうのアプリは「蚊（虫）のむれ」と訳してしまい、医師にはまったく別の意味で伝わりました。TransHero は医学の言葉として正しく「飛蚊症」と訳しました。こうした結果は TransHero 検証レポート（実際の病院での比較） で公開しています。在翻译准不准直接关系到安全和放心的医院里，我们把 TransHero 和普通语音翻译应用放在一起比。比如患者说的「飞蚊症」，普通应用翻成「一群蚊子（虫）」，到医生那里意思完全变了；TransHero 则按医学用语正确翻成「飞蚊症」。这些结果都公开在 TransHero 验证报告（真实医院里的比较） 里。In a hospital, where accurate translation means safety and peace of mind, we tested TransHero side by side with a general voice translation app. When a patient described floaters (hibunsho), the general app translated it as “a swarm of mosquitoes”, so the doctor heard something completely different. TransHero got the medical term right. The results are in the TransHero evaluation report (tested in a real hospital).
